What's New in Konvex 3.0: Workflow Automation

AR

Alex Rivera

CEO & Co-founder

We are thrilled to announce Konvex 3.0, our biggest release ever. At the heart of this update is a completely new Workflow Automation engine that lets you design, test, and deploy complex business processes without writing a single line of code. Combined with 50+ new integrations and a redesigned developer experience, Konvex 3.0 represents a major leap forward for the platform.

The visual Workflow Builder is the centerpiece of this release. Think of it as a flowchart that actually runs. You can define triggers (a new row in a database, a webhook, a schedule, or a user action), add conditional logic, transform data, call external APIs, and route outcomes — all through a drag-and-drop canvas. Each step is testable individually, so you can debug complex workflows with confidence.

We have also added 50+ new integrations, bringing the total to over 150. Highlights include native connectors for Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB Atlas, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, and ServiceNow. Each integration comes with pre-built query templates and schema auto-detection, so connecting a new data source takes minutes rather than hours.

For developers, Konvex 3.0 introduces a TypeScript SDK that lets you define components, queries, and workflows in code. You can version control your entire Konvex application alongside your main codebase, run it in CI/CD pipelines, and use your favorite IDE. This hybrid approach gives you the speed of visual building with the rigor of code-first development.

Other notable improvements include a redesigned component library with 30+ new components, real-time collaboration (multiple users can edit the same application simultaneously), and a built-in testing framework for automated UI and workflow testing. Konvex 3.0 is available today for all customers. Existing applications will be automatically upgraded with no action required.
